When considering the options for art we recommended for a beautiful dining room flooded with light from original stained glass windows, these clients were immediately drawn to Hannah Lane's crowd series since their dining room is a special gathering space for family and friends. Who doesn't love the feeling of a crowded dining room table? Hannah created this large-scale mixed-media piece for these clients with her signature patterns, papers and intuitive mark-making, but most importantly, with various symbols personal to the family. As such, this art represents the connection between family members but also their connection to the greater community. While the piece is layered with energy, it also evokes the sense of belonging we all seek and can ultimately find around a dining room table.
